Support for the patient
Emotional support for patients by a patient who is an eight year survivor and a retired nurse and teacher. The daily struggles vary with each patient due to their individual deficits.  Support can be as simple as chatting with or referring to a support group or as extensive as helping connect with local assistance.
Support for the caregivers

Support for caregivers, the forgotten ‘patient’ that has emotional and physical needs too as they navigate this new chapter in their lives. Their support can be similar to the patient with help locating a support group and as deep as helping find financial assistance as many cancer patients find they need due to exuberant costs of treatment.
